A few months ago we were collecting a bed settee from a friend and giver. The neighbour across the road had several flower planters on the grass verge to prevent people parking on the grass. Unfortunately whilst reversing into our friends drive I drove over one of the planters completely demolishing it. Unfortunately the neighbour wasn’t in so my friend said that he would apologise on my behalf. Whilst apologizing to the neighbour our friend explained all about Besom. How it depends on prayer etc.
Fast forward a few months and the neighbour is wanting to pass on a settee which they are replacing because they need something smaller. The settee is a three seater and we don’t always take three seater settees but it just seemed too good an opportunity to miss and was in excellent condition. What we needed was a recipient with patio doors straight into the lounge and would you believe it, Joy had done an assessment that week for a recipient who was moving into a new house from a domestic refuge the very next day and had patio doors straight into the lounge. The collection and delivery of the settee went so smoothly it just had to be God at work.
